Easter in Sugar Hill
Road to the Cross | march 7 – march 28
Join us during the month leading up to Easter for “Road to the Cross.” This will be a powerful series as we take a look at the journey Jesus was on leading up to Resurection Sunday. We’ll gather in-person at 9:00AM and 11:00AM, and we’re always streaming live at live.sugarhill.church and Facebook. Click here for the verse of the week phone wallpaper.
Palm Sunday | march 28
Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter, remembering the day Jesus travelled into Jerusalem before He was crucified. When He arrived, people welcomed Him by placing palm branches on the road before Him as a sign of honor. We’ll gather together for Palm Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am. You can join us in-person or stream on Facebook or at live.sugarhill.church
four cups | March 29 – April 1
This year, we’ll have a short video available each weekday between Palm Sunday and Good Friday where we dig deeper into the importance of the Four Cups of the Passover seder. The Four Cups represent the four expressions of deliverance promised by God in Exodus. These videos will be made available on Facebook.
Good Friday | April 2
Good Friday is the day Jesus was cruicified. At Sugar Hill Church, we will gather together and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Join us at 7:00pm in-person at Sugar Hill Church, or on Facebook or live.sugarhill.church for a beautiful night of worship as we remember what this day means, and as we look forward to and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday. Childcare will be available for birth-pre-k through registration. You can register here.
Holy Saturday | April 3
Holy Saturday is the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. We can only imagine what this day must have felt like. This year, we want to spend this Holy Saturday together, in prayer. Join us in the Worship Center between 11:00AM and 1:00PM for a time of prayer for our community, our church, and the world. We’ll have people available ready to pray with you and for you.

Frequently asked questions
+ WHO’S INVITED?
Everyone! There’s never been an easier time to invite your friends to an Easter gathering. We love seeing familiar faces and new faces around Easter! We invite the whole Sugar Hill community to join us for these powerful worship experiences. Maybe you’ve been around church your whole life, or maybe you’ve never stepped foot in a church before, either way we want you to be part of what we have going on around here.
+ WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Our gatherings begin with a time of worship – our music is contemporary and is meant to be engaging and heartfelt, while seeking to focus our hearts and minds on God. Our teaching time during our gatherings reflect that we believe the Bible is a big deal, Jesus is the biggest deal, and we live those truths out by serving folks here and around the world.
+ WHAT about covid?
Due to the global pandemic, we’re offering two outdoor gatherings this year for Easter! This will allow for more self-regulated social distancing between parties. If you prefer an indoor gathering, we’ll gather at 5:00pm in our Worship Center where masks will be required.
