Suzanne serves as our Kids Ministry Childcare Coordinator at Sugar Hill Church. She’s been part of our Weekday Preschool team since 2012, and began working in this role in 2022. She has a heart for children and their families and seeing how God can begin working in the hearts of children at an early age. She loves getting to partner with and support our church in creating opportunities for families to come together and grow in their faith. Her husband, David, and she have 5 children (Emma, Grace, Nathan, Anna & Eden). In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Amanda serves as the Kids Ministry Events Coordinator at SHC. She and her husband, Michael, have attended Sugar Hill Church since 2004. Now, with 3 boys – Caleb, Silas, and Nathan, they attend and serve together in several on campus ministries. Amanda finds great joy in bringing families together for fun and fellowship, and she is super excited to be on the team here in Kids Ministry as Events Coordinator. Whenever possible, Amanda is spending time with her husband and kiddos at the ball-field, in the mountains, or playing a game at the kitchen table. Her goal as Special Events Coordinator is to create environments for families in the church and community to come together, build relationships, and have fun!

Allison and her family have attended Sugar Hill Church since moving to Georgia in 2016. She has been married to her husband, Paul, since 2009, and they have three children, Tripp, Cooper, and Maggie. Allison has served in SHC Moms and Kids Ministry during her time at SHC. Allison has a heart for families, and she loves to help cultivate opportunities for families to grow in their relationships with each other and with God. Her hope is to be a strong support to all who serve in Kids Ministry, and partner with them as we serve families in our church and community!

Karen is part of SHC’s Family Ministries Department as the Family Ministries Communications Director. Karen has been attending Sugar Hill Church since 2005, and joined our staff in 2017. She loves having a part in communicating about all the cool things that are going on in Kids, Students, and College. As the Family Ministries Communication Director, Karen does all things communications and graphic design related for Kids, Students, and College, which include: emails, social media posts, message slides, print materials & magazines, websites, t-shirts & swag, and many other things. In her spare time, she loves to snuggle her puppies, spend time with friends, and work on house projects. She and her husband, Zach, have been married since 2011 and they love spending time with their son, Caleb.

Joe is the Elementary Pastor for Sugar Hill Church Kids Ministry. He’s been attending Sugar Hill Church since 1995. The passion Joe has comes from the idea that empowering parents to be the spiritual heroes of the home trickles down to allowing the kids to see the gospel lived out by example. As the Elementary Pastor, Joe helps plan and organize Sugar Hill Kid ministry programing and events from birth through 5th grade with a focus on elementary age children and large group activities both on and off campus. In his spare time, he loves hiking, camping, or fishing with his family. He married his high school sweetheart, Christy, and together they have three children Amber, Hope, and Hunter.
